I have decided to start a blog. Yes, a blog. I have never really written for fun before so… this is exciting. We’ll see how it goes. I’ve been wanting to find a new way to engage with the topics I am passionate about—particularly fashion—and I thought, why not try blogging?

This is a space dedicated to all things fashion, from personal style to whats currently happening in the ever-evolving fashion world.
I don’t have a typical background in fashion. I didn’t study fashion or design in college, BUT fashion is something that I have been drawn to and passionate about for a while now. It may sound like I’m just another shopaholic, but this affinity extends beyond shopping. SO, this blog is my way of exploring the fashion industry, to learn more about it. Here I can tour the industry from the outside and form a solid understanding of the conversations and media that surround the industry, as well as provide commentary on collaborations, styling, and more that are the talk, or not, of the fashion industry.
More specifically, here on Words by Liz you'll find my thoughts on the latest collections, trends, collaborations, industry events, and more that are the center of conversation in the fashion industry. From high-end runway shows, to e-commerce storefronts, to street style inspiration, I'll be sharing what catches my eye, my opinion, and highlighting industry leaders, bloggers, influencers, “it” girls, and editors who are taking notice as well.
Don’t worry, I’m not only going to talk about trending topics, I'll also discuss my personal style journey, sharing my current favorites (this is typically a long list of wish list items, lol), and the little or more niche details that make fashion so exciting and personal.
Living and being in fashion epicenters like New York City, Paris, and Florence have made me realize that fashion is more than just clothing. Which sounds so cliché, I know, but it really showcases how we view ourselves, who we want to be, and has become a way to connect with others.
I’m thrilled to be starting this blog. I have been chronically online since I was young (as with many other Gen Zers), and I wanted to start writing down what I’m thinking while I explore the world of fashion through my phone or computer… and I’ll eventually share from the ground in New York City too.
I may venture into other topics as well. We’ll see. Talk soon. xx
